How to Use
- With the key slip removed, shine a good, bright light under the keys.
- Insert the hook tool between the front rail pins, parallel to the key button angle, and hook it into the eyelet of the selected tab. Keeping both eyes open helps. Speed comes when you work consecutively from one key to the next.
- Pull the tabs, watching the keys rise until they reach perfect level.
Suggestion: Pressing down firmly on top of the key buttons after leveling will help compress the tabs and balance punchings.
Suggestion: If you have raised a key too high, lift the key slightly at the front, use the puller tool to push the cloth balance punching upward slightly on the balance pin, (this releases the tab), then gently push the tab back. In a Grand it may be easier to pull the action part way out, allowing you to move the tab from below.
